I was raised among forests, lakes and sea waves. I took a camera in my hand for the very first time more than 20 years ago. During socialistic replacement, where newspapers were used for packing, nature and photography were the only esthetic media available. Those times were hard but I was smart enough to develop my passions in XTL Fotoclub. Then at the University where I met people who had the most influence on my thinking about photography. First one was Marek Pozniak, artist, photography philosopher and friend. The second one was Bohdan Dziworski, professor , camera operator, photographer, a very fascinating person . Then Jurek Olka, Jakub Byrczka, Marek Grygla Jerzy Lewczyński and many others friends, teachers, classmates. Back in those days I liked to take pictures and until today it gives me so much satisfaction.
In a picture, for me the most important is the light and the moment of the situation. Deep content or the pictures message is less interesting for me. The most important moments in my professional life? First SLR, meeting Marek Pozniak, being at the University and getting to know light measurement secrets...
